Rancho La Puerta, founded in 1940 by Edmond and Deborah Szekely, is a peaceful haven for healthy people who want to be healthier, to reflect, renew and redirect. This destination fitness resort and spa rests on the slopes of 3,885' Mt. Kuchumaa only an hour's drive from downtown San Diego.
Rancho La Puerta is located on 3,000 pristine acres of privately owned nature preserve, with over 60 fitness classes offered daily, a panoply of spa services and low-carb vegetarian (with seafood) cuisine from the Ranch's own organic farm. The rooms are situated in a village of casitas surrounded by world-renowned gardens.
